Percheron Gelding for Sale in Santa Barbara, CA

Hank is a 16-year-old, ~16hh, Percheron-cross gelding. We purchased him in Mar 2011. We are not fully aware of all of his training before us, but his previous owner trained & used him as a dressage show horse. We have trained him to Level 2 in Parelli Natural Horsemanship, to include trailer loading. He is most comfortable in an arena environment and at times is a little skittish on trail rides. He's big, loving, gentle, friendly and very sweet. Great for taller riders, as he is rather w-i-d-e; and we would recommend experienced/immediate skill-level. $5,000. We are re-homing our 2 horses, preferably together; due to our upcoming move out-of-state. We are weekend pleasure riders and practice Natural Horsemanship. In addition to the horses, we have saddles, extra tack, riding clothing and a variety of other equipment you would acquire in 15+ years of owning and riding horses. An estimated 8,000 to 10,000 Chumash lived on the south coast of Santa Barbara County at the time of the first European explorations. [ citation needed ] Five Chumash villages flourished in the area.
