Percheron Mare for Sale in Blair, NE
Gentle Percheron mare. She is 18 and both rides and drives. She would be a great beginners horse or a more intermediate drivers horse.
I have too many young inexperienced horses and I just dont have time for her any more. She is way too nice of a mare to just sit.
She is an awesome trail horse. Gets along well with others, will lead or follow. She goes through water, over bridges, rides well along highways. She has 2 years driving under her, but has not been driven in a couple of years. She drives good double or single. Driving single, she does not like heavy traffic.
She is great for the farrier, shots and baths.
She has exceptional breeding and has had 7 babies over the years. She is an awesome broodmare as well.

About Blair, NE
Blair was platted in 1869 when the Sioux City and Pacific Railroad was extended to that point. It was named for railroad magnate John Insley Blair, who was credited with bringing the railroad to town. Blair was incorporated as a city in 1872. Within its first year, Blair was designated county seat. In March 1869, a small child playing on a railroad turntable in town was injured on the turntable.
