Beautiful black & white 8 year old Tobiano APHA Gelding for sale. 15.1 hands, He's been there done that kind of horse. Never shown but has been all over the United States trail riding. Goes through water with ease, not spooky.
Great with other horses... Currently turned out with Mares but we do have a stallion on the farm as well, doesn't mind him. He is currently stall kept at night and turned out daily but has been left out all night as well. (Weather permitting)
UTD on all shots, Has his feet trimmed every 8 weeks (has great feet, does not need shoes) Wormed every other month. Just had his teeth floated last summer. Does very well with the Vet & Farrier
No bad habits, does not crib, bit, kick, buck etc. Loads on any trailer, you can walk under him, jump on him bare back in the pasture with just a halter, does not mind tacking up.
Has been tied on a line during trail rides, Comes right up to you in the pasture (easy to catch), comes when you whistle for him. He's honestly an amazing horse, ONLY selling to an approved home. We are selling him because we don't have the time to spend with him that he deserves.
Has not been ridden this year yet, may need a little refresher. Does need an experienced, confident rider He can be pushy at times.

About Freeport, IL
The community was originally called Winneshiek. When it was incorporated, the new municipality took its name from the generosity of Tutty Baker, who was credited with running a "free port" on the Pecatonica River. The name "Winneshiek" was later adopted, and is preserved to this day, by the Freeport Community Theatre Group. In 1837, Stephenson County was formed and Freeport became its seat of government in 1838. Linked by a stagecoach with Chicago, the community grew rapidly.
