Trakehner Mare for Sale in Sterling, IL

Her dam is my favorite mare, Tansanita Vom Castell, the dam of several OUTSTANDING foals who are excelling in dressage. She is from impeccable performance bloodlines, and has fabulous Trakehner "type". I waited 4 years for this filly, and she is only being offered to a perfect home. Trudy's sire is my (deceased) thoroughbred stallion, Wicklow Highlands. He had almost 100 starts and over $628, 000 in earnings on the racetrack in a long, successful career with an incredible history of soundness. After "retiring" he was entered into retraining and proved to be incredibly well - tempered, and extremely willing and trainable. He has stamped his first (and only) foal crop with beautifully balanced conformation, great legs, GORGEOUS heads and well - set necks, and ALL of his foals are extremely people - oriented and athletic. The combination of the thoroughbred influence with the quality of the Trakehner bloodlines is spectacular.

About Sterling, IL
