Saddlebred Gelding for Sale in Norman, OK

GORGEOUS 9 1/2 YO Saddlebred gelding HIGH ENERGY !!! Will make a GREAT " barrel or play ~ day " horse . Very well trained ~ I have ridden him on a busy road in a halter , but usually rides with a hackamore . because he is so .. ready to go , and energetic , I definitely advise an intermediate ( or , more advanced , of course ! ) rider ! ( so .. I mean no offense , but please do not bring your young child , who has never ridden before , and ask if he is a good horse for them . the answer is " NO . " I do not want to waste either of our time ! ) He is 15'3 , and has had vaccinations on September 1st , with a vet's receipt to show that he is healthy . " Flame " is a GREAT horse , and I would really like to keep him . But , I want to ride with my paralyzed mother , and have to find a slower horse . We are asking $ 1200 O.B.O. For that reason , I might be interested in a trade . ( for another HORSE , of course ! ) Thank you for your interest .

About Norman, OK

The Oklahoma region became part of the United States with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Prior to the American Civil War the United States government began relocating the Five Civilized Tribes – the five Native American tribes that the United States officially recognized via treaty – to Oklahoma. Treaties of 1832 and 1833 assigned the area known today as Norman to the Creek Nation. Following the Civil War, the Creeks were accused of aiding the Confederacy and as a result they ceded the region back to the United States in 1866. In the early 1870s, the federal government undertook a survey of these unassigned lands.
