Miniature Mare for Sale in Shelley, ID
~Lady is 6 years old measureing 35. 5" tall. She is a dark
silver chestnut with silver main and tail. Lady has nice straight legs
and a good bite. Lady has been shown at halter some, she took Reserve
grand champion mare over at a local show. She has also been shown in
4~H by a mentally handicapped child. Lady loves atention and is easy to
handle. I~m starting her in harness, she has a very flashy trot on her,
and will make a very nice pleasure driving horse. she is currently open
but I would be willing to breed her to my bay and white pinto 33"
stallion Surprise Show Stopper for an 2008 foal, if she is sold this
year. I have reduced her price to $1000. 00 for now but it will go up
after she is broke to drive or if I breed her next year.
About Shelley, ID
Shelley was established in 1904. It was named for John F. Shelley, who moved to the area in 1892. He'd moved to the area intending to open a small store, and needed lumber and other supplies to build it. Since the site was some distance from the nearest existing community, he asked the railroad company to make a special stop to offload the supplies he'd ordered.
