Welsh Pony Gelding for Sale in El Cajon, CA
Max is a 13.1h cute sport pony who, being 13yrs, I have sadly outgrown. He is a beautiful chestnut and would be great with a child, novice or amateur rider. He is currently competing at a intro level cross country, and has jumped up to 2'9. He consistently jumps 2'6. Max's birthday is 7-3-06, and he is a healthy POA(Pony of America) Welsh cross gelding. Max is very trustworthy and is comfortable at shows, he trails well and loves to jump. He is a very personable boy who has won a second place ribbon for cross country and a high point metal in dressage. Max has been in Pony club for about a year.

About El Cajon, CA
During Spanish rule (1769–1821), the government encouraged settlement of territory now known as California by the establishment of large land grants called ranchos, from which the English word ranch is derived. Land grants were made to the Roman Catholic Church which set up numerous missions throughout the region. In the early nineteenth century, mission padres' search for pasture land led them to the El Cajon Valley. Surrounding foothills served as a barrier to straying cattle and a watershed to gather the sparse rainfall. For years the pasture lands of El Cajon supported the cattle herds of the mission and its native Indian converts.
