Ponies for Sale in Crawfordsville, IN

Pops is a 15 year old chestnut pony that stands at 13.2HH. He is very solid and thick and able to carry adults with no problem. He's the type of pony you can leave sitting all winter and get on the next spring without any issues. He's very calm and level headed under saddle at W/T/C. I've never had him spook while riding him. Before we bought him we were told that he had been trail ridden all over the state. He will ride out alone but he tends to be a little on the lazy side then. He's much happier to ride with other horses and follow along behind them, which always makes him our go-to for beginner riders. He stands well to be groomed and for the farrier and is always the first one to greet you in the pasture. He's low on the pecking order with other horses and mostly tends to keep to himself. Very easy keeper with no prior hoof issues. I think with a little more consistent work he would make a great 4-H or pony club mount. He's also great for lead line for younger children as well. Personally would recommend him for a teenager/adult beginner or a child with at least some experience.

About Crawfordsville, IN

Crawfordsville was founded adjacent to Sugar Creek, a southern tributary of the Wabash River, in 1823 by Virginian Major Ambrose Whitlock, U.S. Army, who served under Gen.
