Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Erie, PA

I unfortunately am looking to sell my horse. He is the sweetest boy, but I am going to be unable to pay for board due to an income related issue that just occurred. He was just vetted 8/28/2015, and his physical exam was fine. I had his teeth floated as well. He has a recent coggins that came back negative, and has had all of his shots. He had his sheath cleaned as well that date. About the only current expense he needs is a farrier visit. I've been currently trying to fatten him up, as he is rather skinny right now. He gets 12lbs (6lbs am, 6lbs pm) of feed and constant hay with light work in an attempt to help him gain weight. I've only had him for about 3 weeks now. He just raced at mountaineer about 4 weeks ago, but is ready to take a different path at this point. He can lunge, woahs on a dime, and is solid under saddle. He learns extremely quickly. A week ago he had no idea how to lunge, and picked it up really well with me. He is very receptive to ground work and saddle work. He has a couple "boo-boos" from hurting himself out in the pasture, so you may want to get him boots and padding as he's injury prone in the pasture (likes to scrape his skin off, silly boy!). He gets along really well with the other horses in pasture. He would make a great english or western horse! I've currently ridden him under western, and the owner before me had him under english. He did well with both disciplines. He's young, eager, and could be trained to do anything at this point. He's great and I'm sad to see him go! **Price is negotiable. I would be MORE than willing to offer lease as well. Buying price - 850 (Extremely negotiable! I need to sell him by the 17th of September, so best offer!) Leasing price - $125 Message for pictures and videos!!

About Erie, PA

Indigenous peoples occupied the shoreline and bluffs in this area for thousands of years, taking advantage of the rich resources. The Sommerheim Park Archaeological District in Millcreek Township, Pennsylvania west of the city, includes artifacts from the Archaic period in the Americas, as well as from the Early and Middle Woodland Period, roughly a span from 8,000 BCE to 500 CE. The historic Iroquoian-speaking Erie Nation occupied this area before being defeated by the five nations of the Iroquois Confederacy in the 17th century during the Beaver Wars. The Iroquois tribes had developed and five nations formed a political league in the 1500s, adding their sixth nation in the early 18th century. The Erie area became controlled by the Seneca, "keeper of the western door" of the Iroquois, who were largely based in present-day New York.
