American Warmblood Mare for Sale in Oconomowoc, WI

2 year old filly out of Ironman, by a paint mare. "Lexi" has made a name for herself in the hunter breeding ring. "Lexi" was a premium foal for American Warmblood Registry. She was Champion for Illinois Hunter Jumper Association Hunter Breeding Yearling, Champion for USEF Zone 6 Hunter Breeding Yearling, and is ranked 9 th for National USEF Hunter Breeding Yearlings. She has won the majority of her classes and has been Champion or Reserve Best Young Horse most of the times she has been out. She is great with kids, quiet, calm and well mannered. She would make a great children or adult hunter type. Will be about 16 hands when full grown. Very good mover and very much a people horse. Serious inquiries only. CD upon request.

About Oconomowoc, WI

Before 1700, this region was inhabited by Potawatomi peoples descended from Woodland Indians known as "mound builders". There are also reports that the Sauk Indian chief Black Hawk had a campsite on Oconomowoc Lake. The first white person recorded in the area was Amable (sometimes spelled "Aumable") Vicau, brother-in-law of Solomon Juneau, one of the founders of Milwaukee. Vicau established a trading post in 1827. White settlers soon followed, beginning in 1830.
