Gypsy Vanner Gelding for Sale in Santa Rosa, CA
Love Ruby Aramis is a beautiful, 7 year old, 15.1 hh, registered Gypsy Vanner gelding. He is a bay and white tricolor tobiano with one blue eye and a mane and tail to die for! Sire = Love Biscuit, Dam = Rambling Gypsy Ruby. He can ride and drive, although he has not been driven in a few years as we have been focusing on riding. Started jumping on low cross poles and doing very well! He has plenty of trail riding experience as well as going in the show ring. Currently riding him english, but he has been ridden western in the past and is fun to go around bareback on. He was purchased sight unseen from Wisconsin a year ago and over the last year we have realized that he would really do better in a home with an intermediate, confident rider as we need a horse more suited for a timid beginner. He has a fabulous teddybear personality, clips, ties, bathes (loves water!) loads, ect. Aramis has tons of potential for dressage and really dazzles in the show ring. About Santa Rosa, CA
Santa Rosa was founded in 1833 and named after Saint Rose of Lima. Before the arrival of Europeans, the Santa Rosa Plain was home to a strong and populous tribe of Pomo natives known as the Bitakomtara. The Bitakomtara controlled the area closely, barring passage to others until permission was arranged. Those who entered without permission were subject to harsh penalties. The tribe gathered at ceremonial times on Santa Rosa Creek near present-day Spring Lake Regional Park.
