Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Pontotoc, MS

I bought this mare this year in May. . She needed a good home so i bought her. I have take VERY good care of Gidget. I have fed her, put shoes on her and goten her skin looking better. She is a true red - dun, has a red line down her back and has black in her mane and tail. She is double bred Impressive - Dont let that scare you off. I have had her tested for HYPP. . and she is HYPP - N / N. . meaning she does not have the HYPP - Gene at all and cant carry it to her foal or foals she will have in years to come. She is a VERY well built mare, small chested in her chest (Probably wont fill out any more then she has. . . now i could be wrong) . and she has MASSIVE hind - quarters. For being 16. 1 hands she carrys herself very well. Has a pretty long neck and body to match. This will be her 1 st foal, She just turned 3 in April. I would like to see Gidget go to a good home where she would be loved and peted whenever she wanted. She is broke to ride, but has not had much rideing time on her. If you would like more info on her please e - mail me. If i dont sale her now, I will wait untill she has this foal then breed her back to a Western Impress son (Impressive grandson HYPP - N / N) Then sale her, The price will probably go up then. So get her now. Her grand - sire was a world champion at halter she is also a half - sister to 3 world champion halter stallions. She sales in foal to a son of The Invester, This stud's dam is a daughter of Zippo Pine Bar. He has a ROM - in open western pleasure and has been to a few AQHA - Sow.

About Pontotoc, MS

Pontotoc is a Chickasaw word meaning "Land of Hanging Grapes". They occupied this area before Europeans colonized the Southeast. In the early 1830s they were forced onto Indian Territory through Indian removal. In the late 19th century, the outlaws Jesse and Frank James and their gang once hid at an old house that had been used as a Union Army hospital during the Battle of Harrisburg or Battle of Tupelo in the Civil War. The house was located at a crossroad in east Pontotoc County, near the Lee County line.
