Cleveland Bay Gelding for Sale in Tiverton, RI

Linus is up for half lease, could be ridden 3-4 times a week. Linus a 20 y/o, 16.1hh Cleveland Bay Cross located in Tiverton RI at Nora Harris Equestrian. Though he is 20 he rides like he’s 10 and no one ever believes me when I say his age. He is an eventer but can do jumpers and dressage very well. He is a great teacher for intermediate and up riders, he was a lesson horse in his past life. He has competed beginner novice with his previous owner, and intro this past summer but schools up to 3ft. He is very brave and will jump anything put in front of him no matter the height. He was trained by a high level dressage rider from NH so his dressage is very strong. It is an on farm lease at a very nice facility with an indoor ring, outdoor ring, field with jumps, tails for trail rides and lots of turnout. As well as very nice people who care for the horses at the highest level. All tack included as long as it is cared for properly. He has great ground manners as I enjoy doing ground work with him often. Very well tempered, everyone who meets him loves him. He is low key (not spooky) and a super fun ride. He loves work and has lots of go, so is not for someone who likes a lazy/slow ride. Rider must be a solid intermediate and up. He will be available starting September 1st through the school year. I am a student at Roger Williams University so I am near by and available if anything happens. The half lease would cost half the board $450 but could change depending on the amount of riding. Call, text or email with any questions or for more picture or videos. Evelyn: (603) 667-7691 - evelyn.s.chambers@gmail.com

About Tiverton, RI

Tiverton was incorporated by English colonists in 1694 within Bristol County in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. In 1746, in the final settlement of a long colonial boundary dispute between Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Tiverton was annexed to Rhode Island by Royal Decree (together with its fellow towns along the eastern shore of Narragansett Bay, Barrington, Bristol and Little Compton, and the town of Cumberland, to the north of Providence). Tiverton was incorporated as a town of Rhode Island in 1747. Until that year, Tiverton also controlled the area of East Freetown, Massachusetts, as an outpost. The boundary settlement of 1746 had put East Freetown in Massachusetts, and in 1747 it was purchased by Freetown.
