Dressage Or Driving Prospect Started Under Saddle W/T/C

Due to the owner's debilitating arthritis and other physical disabilities we are placing this lovely mare up for sale. Addy is a 15.3hh, big bodied Black Tobiano Pinto Friesian Sport Horse Mare (75% Friesian & 25% Spotted Draft). She is double registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International and the Friesian Sport Horse Registry. Addy was started as a five year old under saddle at the walk, trot and canter and was also ground driven. Unfortunately due to time constraints and the owner's physical disabilities, Addy's training has not been continued. This being said, she is an extremely intelligent mare that retains what she has learned. She is also very bold and brave and rarely shies away from anything at all. This has been very apparent in her training as she takes everything in stride and has never offered to buck, bolt or rear. For her size, Addy moves out very smoothly and she has a nice lofty trot, as well as a beautiful extended trot. She covers a lot of ground in long strides. Addy will require an experienced horse person and/or trainer as she does like to test the boundaries when she first meets you. Once the boundaries are clear however she respects them well. Addy will make a great trail riding horse as it seems nothing ever really scares her and she has overcome every obstical to cross her path. She would also make a lovely dressage and/or driving prospect. We have bred Addy to our Homozygous APHA paint stallion Prefect Prints for a 2016 37.5% Friesian Sport Horse foal that will GUARANTEED be a black tobiano.
