Merlyn is awesome kid friendly, begineer rider or roping horse. We bought
him for our son, to learn to ride and rope. His 1 st year to show him,
he placed 2 nd in year end awards in team roping. He is GREAT for the
family for just riding, learning and roping. We are having to sell him
to purchase our son another horse that is more advanced. Photos available

An annual award is made in his name. Deacons for Defense is a 2003 television movie made about the 1965 civil rights struggle in Bogalusa.
