Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Brookville, IN
Saber is a 15H black gelding quarter horse. He is 24yrs old and has "been there done that". He has performed in County fairs, State fairs, parades, and has been all over the U.S. trail riding. He is an excellent starter horse, calm as can be, doesn't spook, easy to catch, easy to load, always well behaved for the farrier, feet are an easy keep, loves attention, loves treats, kids climb all over him, great as a lead horse or follower, has been an excellent teacher to so many riders including my 2 daughters, great for younger or older riders. I've rode him bareback without a bridle with just a halter and rope and he does great. He was a talented cattle horse when he was younger. Has AQHA registration. He is in great shape for his age and has many years ahead. He also has "The Prophets Thumbprint" legend or not he is true to the legend as the perfect horse. About Brookville, IN
Brookville was platted in 1808 by Thomas Manwarring. The town derives its name from Brooks, the maiden name of a settler's mother. A post office has been in operation at Brookville since 1816. The Brookville Historic District, Franklin County Seminary, The Hermitage, and Whitewater Canal Historic District are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
