Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Lone Rock, IA
Summer is a very pretty 3 year old palomino & white quarter horse / paint.
She has a lot of white on her face and legs, and a couple small spots on
her sides. She can be skittish around new people, but she is very tame
and loves attention once she establishes trust. She is not trained
and therefore needs an owner with time and experience to train her.
We are sadly selling all of our horses due to other interests. All are
up to date on shots / worming. We will sell to very good homes only.
Trainers welcome as long as you are choosy about who you resell to.
About Lone Rock, IA
Long before any settlement took place here, the unusual (175 ton) boulder was used as a landmark for travelers. Lone Rock was platted in 1899 when the railroad was being built through the neighborhood. In 1970, the lone rock was moved to the new location by blasting it into four pieces and reconstructing the pieces inside the community.
