Qurious George is a 16'2 2012 Hanoverian gelding by the outstanding dressage stallion Quaterback, out of a Feinbrand mare. He is an eye catching fellow with a beautiful expression, well set neck, clean legs and pleasing body lines. Que has already proven himself a winner by being named best dressage bred foal at the Hanoverian Mare and Foal show and Hanoverian inspection at Spruce Meadows. In 2017 he scored 69+% in training level with judge comments of “good future” and “correct training apparent”. Two months later he scored 72+% at first level. He is a quick study with a tremendous work ethic and desire to please. He has started flying changes, and the lateral work comes easily to him. He is showing an ability to really sit in the canter. Que has impeccable ground manners and is good for vets, farriers, trailering etc. He has been mountain trail ridden both alone and with other horses. Que comes with a full history health record, x-rays and has suffered no illnesses or soundness issues. He recently had full flexion tests with perfect scores on each joint. Que's sire is Quarterback; in 2005 winner of his stallion licensing; in 2006 winner of the German young horse championships with scores of 7.5 for walk, 9.5 for trot and a perfect 10 for his uphill expressive canter; in 2007 winner of his 30 day test with similar impressive scores including a 9.75 for his riding qualities. Qurious George's dam Flora was sired by Feinbrand, reserve champion at his licensing. Ten of Feinbrand's sons were approved as stallions and many of his foals have sold at elite foal auctions. Flora has passed on her kindness, intelligence and sensibility to Que. With Que’s correct movement and incredible presence under saddle, he is the complete package for the serious dressage competitor, yet for the amateur, he remains sensible and safe.
