"Sophie" is a well built filly that has a lot of potential to
do anything such as working cow horse or ranch horse competition! She is
halter broke and has been taught to be on the longe line. Handled daily
and has had her feet trimmed. She has an excellent start to become a great
4- H project! This filly's grandfather is the producer of money winners
in cutting and her sire, Don't Skip This Chip, is the producer of money
winners and point earners in events such as roping, western pleasure,
and all around events. She has got the breeding to go in any direction!
About Townsend, MT
Lewis and Clark passed through on the voyage of discovery in 1805, although the first white settlers, homesteaders and Civil War veterans in search of gold, did not arrive until the late 1860s. In 1883, a railstop was established as businesses became established supporting gold mining in the region. Townsend was named by railroad officials, in honor of the wife of Charles Barstow Wright, president of the Northern Pacific (1875–1879).
