Morab Mare for Sale in Lexington, SC

"Daisy" is an 19 year old Morab mare suitable for low level hunters/jumpers below 3', English pleasure, or a trail horse. In the picture her coloring does look a little bit weird since her hair is growing in after a body clip. Although she is 19 she still has a bit of "go" in her and would do best with a beginner rider working with a trainer, or an intermediate rider and above. She is a one person kind of horse with a sweet nature. She goes on trails perfectly by herself or with other horses either at the front or the back. Although still a bit green with the concept of rounding out, she would be a very good prospect for hunter flat classes. She has previously been jumped up to 4 foot, however now is only suitable at 3'ish and below at a biweekly schedule. She has shoes on all hooves and requires them. She also MUST be on a 5-6 week farrier schedule else she will develop a locking stifle due to a long toe. She is up to date on all vaccines and wormers, stands for the farrier and vet, and also self loads.Only for sale to a GREAT home. More Videos/Pictures of Daisy can be found by contacting me. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail or message me for more pictures or details. Price: 900 or best reasonable offer- motivated seller

About Lexington, SC

In 1735, the colonial government of King George II established eleven townships in backcountry South Carolina, to encourage settlement, and to provide a buffer between Native American tribes to the West and colonial plantations in the Lowcountry. The townships included one named Saxe Gotha, which flourished with major crops of corn, wheat, tobacco, hemp, and flax, as well as beeswax and livestock. The Battle of Tarrar Springs was fought nearby on November 16, 1781. In 1785, Saxe Gotha was replaced with Lexington County, in commemoration of the Battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. The county's first courthouse was built in Granby, but chronic flooding forced the courthouse to move in 1820 to its present location, establishing the community of Lexington Courthouse.
