Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Heflin, AL
Must be removed from boarding barn before August 1. Owner cannot afford
boarding - ready to sell! Jill is a sweet natured mare who loads EASILY,
stands tied for ages, clips (enjoys it!!!) , and bathes. She has trail
riding experience and had further training this spring. Jill moves
nicely but seems to have discomfort under the saddle. No hoof or leg
problems evident. Round pen work - trots, canters without missing a beat
- maybe just hates the saddle. Jill is being sold as a BROODMARE ONLY,
but if your vet can locate her problem, you'll have a lovely riding mare.
March 2006 neg. Coggins. Jill's sire is double - bred Ima Cool Skip. Her
dam is by Skip In Style. HYPP N / N Feel free to request more photos and
information about Jill! * Please visit Angela's Quarter Horses for more

About Heflin, AL
Heflin was first settled in 1882 as a station on the railroad line from Atlanta. The town quickly grew and was incorporated in 1886. Until 1905, the County Seat of Cleburne County had been located at Edwardsville. In 1905, an election was held to move the county seat from Edwardsville to Heflin. The election results favored Heflin and were appealed to and upheld by the Alabama Supreme Court on July 1, 1906.
