Morgan Mare for Sale in Walpole, NH

Who doesn't love a leggy blonde?! "Barbie" is a spritzy young mare with an incredibly bright future ahead of her. She stands 15.3, was foaled in 2011, is fully registered with the American Morgan Horse Association and is eligible for registration with the Palomino Horse Association. Green under saddle but very well started, she has a solid foundation to head in whatever direction her new owner wishes to take her in. She is responsive off your leg, stands for mounting and dismounting, and is safe and honest under saddle. She is fabulous on trails, happily crosses water, jumps ditches and logs, is not spooky, and would be a gorgeous trail mount, either competitively or recreationally. Her gaits are balanced and beautiful enough to take her to the top in the Dressage ring, and she would also be a lovely mount for breed circuit Hunter Pleasure classes. Exquisitely beautiful and also a gifted athlete that moves off her hocks extremely well, she is one the highest quality colorful mares in the Morgan breed and would be a true asset in the breeding shed. Her career options are truly unlimited! Barbie's ground manners are immaculate. She leads, lunges, crossties, clips and loads well and is easy to catch. She is a quick learner, extremely kind, and very intelligent. Barbie is personable, friendly and loves peppermints! She is currently kept barefoot, is 100% sound (vet checks always welcome!), has no vices, is up to date on all shots, worming and farrier care and is all ready to find her very own person. If you've always dreamed of having your very own Barbie dream horse, contact us to set up an appointment to meet her before someone else gets her!

About Walpole, NH

The town was first granted in 1736 by Colonial Governor Jonathan Belcher of Massachusetts as "Number 3", third in a line of Connecticut River fort towns. It was settled as early as 1736, and called "Great Falls" or "Lunenburg". Colonel Benjamin Bellows, for whom Bellows Falls, Vermont, is named, built a large fort here for defense against Indian attack. After the border between Massachusetts and New Hampshire was fixed (with Number 3 on the New Hampshire side of the line), the town was regranted by Governor Benning Wentworth as "Bellowstown", after its founder. It was incorporated in 1756.
