How much does it cost to add my link?
The Basic Link is free and includes two categories for placement and a description of up to 30 words.

How do I add my link to HorseWeb's Directory?

Step 1:
Click www.horseweb.com/addalink to take you to the f orm.

Step 2:
You will be taken to a page where you can include information about your link including the website's address, name, location, a description and keywords.

You may choose categories where your link will be placed in the Directory. You must select at least one category.

When you have finished,
click   "Continue >>>"

Step 3:
If you have chosen a Free Link, you may put in contact information. This information is for internal HorseWeb use only for maintaining the links.

If you need to change any information at this point
click   "Modify Link"
to go back and edit your link information.

Click   Continue >>> when you are finished.

Step 4:
Now you should be taken to the the confirmation page. This page gives you one more chance to review your link information before submitting it.

Your link is now in the queue for the review process.

How do I check the status of my link?

Step 1:
Please go to www.horseweb.com/checklink.
You will then need the site address and the email address as you entered it when you added your link.

Step 2:
You will be taken to a page where all your link information as you entered it is listed. If your link is in the HorseWeb Directory you will see   "Online" status. If your link still needs to be reviewed, you will see   "Pending" status.

How long will it be until my I can see my link in HorseWeb's Directory
When you order your link, it is placed in "Pending Status" until we review it. We review each of our free, quick & featured links by visiting the website. We verify the links are horse related and are in appropriate categories. Depending on the volume of links pending in the queue, the review process may take 4-6 weeks.

Why do you review each link?
We review each site because we want to make sure the sites in our Link Directory are horse related or reflect some part of equine industry and to make sure they are not pornographic. We also check that the link is in the most appropriate category for its subject and that it is in the our requested format for title and description - we then make any necessary changes.

Is there a way to speed up the review process?
Yes, we offer Quick Links which are automatically placed online within 15 minutes for a one time $20 fee. We still do the review process and may change the categories under which the link is located. Once your link is online, you can modify it much as needed while retaining your online status.

Will you notify me when my link goes online?
If your link is a free link, we will not notify you when it is online. When you place your order, you will receive an email receipt showing your link is in "Pending" status. You can check the status of your link to see if it is online.

Method 1
First follow the steps to check the status of your link. The status page will tell you where the Categories in which your link is placed. Simply go to HorseWeb and click on the category where your link is located. Scroll through the alphabetical listings or click on the appropriate country/state.

Type your website address name in the "Search the links" and
click   "Go".

How long will you keep my link in the HorseWeb Directory?
You link will remain in the HorseWeb Directory as long as the link is valid.

You will need the site address and the email address as you entered it when you added your link.

Step 2:
The form page where you edit your link should appear with all of your link's information and the link's status (Pending or Online). Change or add information as needed

Please email us the website name, address and email used to create add your link to the HorseWeb Directory and we will take care of it for you.

Please email us with as much information about your link that you remember and we will research it for you.

Yes, we have Quick Links, Featured Links, Extra Categories, and Extra Words:

We offer Quick Links which are automatically placed online within 15 minutes for a one time $20 fee. Once your link is online, you can modify it much as needed while retaining your online status.

Featured Links:
Featured Links, which provides the same quick link status along with prominent display in the Featured Link areas of the top of categories you have chosen and inclusion into targeted emailings to HorseWeb registered users, all for $25 per month. Click here for more info

The first two Categories you choose are free. You may add two additional categories for $10/each.

Extra Words:
Free Links are 30 words or less, premium links are 40 words or less. Extra words are 0.50 each.
