“Halo’s from Heaven” On Christmas Day 2001 my Grandmother passed away unexpectedly. After her passing I had what I would call a “Memory Dream”. I had dreamt about the first horse I was on. My Grandmother provided the mount and her name………….”Merry Christmas”. I even managed to locate a photo of all of us together in Nashville at Monroe Harding Children’s Home. This helped to ease the pain of our loss and know the small inheritance left by my Grandmother was intended for the purchase of HG Esquire. We knew from the beginning he was special. After 6 months of trying to save enough money to purchase the chosen colt that would serve as the “cornerstone” of our breeding program, my Grandmother had made it possible for HG Esquire to come home. “Gainey Cornerstone Arabians” will be offering a $25.00 raffle for the chance to win a breeding to “HG Esquire” with all proceeds donated to “Angel Heart Farm”.
