11/03/2001 to 11/03/2001
We have 1,000 acres south of Seminole, Okla. and 12 miles of varied trails, woods, open fields, and a river to ride down and cross. This area was an oil boom area back in the 20's and 30's and has a lot of history and old oil field remains that make you wonder back in time as to when there were oil wells every 300 ft and tents & makeshift shacks everywhere. We visit a wonderful natural spring that was found by the early settlers so bring a cup along to tastes. This event has a $20.00 ea rider donation which includes supper on sat. night. We hope to have some entertainment as well - anyone intested please contact us. We will have a silent auction so if anyone wants to bring something to donate for the auction please do so. Please contact Kathy @ (405)553-4873 one week in advance for reservations. Campers are welcome to camp out the evening before. Call for directions & more info.
