Helene Asmis Clifford and daughter Lynn Clifford will be holding a classical dressage clinic outside West Chester, PA, on June 10-11, 2001. Helene trained in Germany with Major Paul Stecken and Egon von Niendorff. In 1960, Helene was invited by Willi Schultheis to train with the German Olympic team. She was recently named IALHA Horsewoman of the Year and in 2001, the AHSA named the Urco Trophy in memory of a horse ridden by her. Helene's training focuses on developing a relationship with the horse to permit the integrity and expression of that individual as freely as possible. She has a unique gift for helping riders with large horses achieve lightness and unity in their riding. If you are interested riding with invisible aids on a willing horse as a partner, this clinic will provide insights on how to blend rigorous technical execution with artistic concepts. Learn how to improve your freestyle, body and energy awareness in relation to the horse, and explore an approach to horsemansh
