Horses and other large animals are often the innocent victims in emergencies. Whether its a trailering accident, barn fire, or an escape from its pasture, horses can often be prevented from serious injury if owners and rescue responders know what to to. Join us for this day-long clinic and workshop on how to help prepare your horse to deal with an emergency. You'll learn safe sling application techniques, rescue knots and techniques for reducing emergency stress factors for your horse. You'll also learn how to work with first responders to ensure scene safety, and to help enable a more sucessful rescue for your horse.
