The newly formed Indiana Ranch Horse Association (IRHA) will host two clinics with Bill and Linda Black of Cross 9 Ranch in preparation for the 2007 show season. The clinics will be held at Windmill Junction Farm in Claypool, Indiana, rain or shine. There is a 10-rider limit for both clinics, so preregistration is required. All auditors are welcome. The first clinic will be a two-day event focusing on colt starting, problem solving, and horsemanship on February 24 and 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Blacks will lead participants in starting their own young horses under saddle and in improving their communication and performance with their riding horses. The cost for the February clinic is $230 to ride all weekend and $125 to ride for one day. Auditors are welcome for $50 for the weekend or $30 per day.
