The Western States Trail Foundation alias Tevis is putting on an Educational/Fun Ride. Those participating on the Educational Ride will be paired up with a well qualified mentor who will ride with them on the Tevis trail from Robinson Flat to Auburn over the course of two days. Speakers will give invigerating and relevant talks on both Friday and Saturday afternoons after the days ride. A BBQ on Saturday night will be followed with live entertainment.The Fun Riders will be on their own to have fun and enjoy the trail. Check out www.teviscup.org for more information,

Immerse yourself in a 6-day workshop. This is a unique opportunity to observe wild horses in their natural habitat. You will begin to understand non-verbal communication with the natural world, be introduced to herd dynamics and develop a bond through building a trust-based relationship. The young horses being socialized in this clinic have come to the class through various rescue situations. They have shown a natural desire to relate to humans. To make their futures less traumatic for veterinary care, foster homes etc, these young horses will be your teachers.
