Top-Ranked International Teams to Compete at
2001 Washington International Horse Show

Washington, DC – The Washington International Horse Show, to be held October
23 – 28, 2001 at the MCI Center in Washington, DC, has announced the 2001
international team riders who will compete in this year’s event.
Canada, Ireland, and Mexico will send top horses and riders to the nation’s
capital, putting forth a formidable challenge to the USA team, winner of
last year’s prestigious Samsung Nations Cup.
The USA team will include:

Oct. 27 -
Saturday afternoon: Pair Relay Costume Class
Saturday evening: Salamander Farm President’s Cup Grand
Prix
Sunday afternoon: Samsung Nations Cup

non-profit organization, the WIHS donates all proceeds to local and national
