Washington, DC – The Washington International Horse Show has announced that the annual event, to be held October 23 – 28, 2001 at the MCI Center in Washington, DC, will be held as planned.

“Although we, like the rest of the nation, are deeply saddened by tragic terrorist events that occurred on September 11, the Washington International Horse Show will be held as planned. We look forward to welcoming top horses and riders from around the world, including international teams from Ireland, Canada, and Mexico, to our 43rd annual show,” stated WIHS president, Jorge Carnicero.
