Zaszu Withdraws from United States Equestrian Team Eventing Short
List

Gladstone, NJ -- July 24-The United States Equestrian Team (USET) and Melissa
Beardsley of Redmond, WA have announced that her horse, Zaszu, has withdrawn
from the list of Alternates for the 2000 Olympic Games USET Eventing Short
List. The horse was withdrawn due to veterinary reasons following the
Cosequin/USET Mandatory Short List Outing on July 21-22 at Foxhall Farm in
Douglasville, GA.
The United States Equestrian Team is the non-profit organization that
selects, trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest possible
standard to represent our country in major international competition,
including the Olympic Games and the World Championships. To accomplish this
the USET seeks out and nurtures the development of talented athletes -
riders, drivers and horses - and provides the support and guidance they need
