United States Equestrian Team Announces Olympic Dressage Squad

Gladstone, NJ - July 7, 2000-The United States Equestrian Team (USET) has
announced the horses and riders who will compete for this country in the
dressage competition at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
The riders earned the right to represent the United States following a
pre-Olympic European tour consisting of CDIO Arnhem, The Netherlands and Bad
Honnef, Germany. The 2000 U.S. Olympic dressage squad is:

These five riders were the top five finishers in the selection trials held in
Loxahatchee, FL May 13 & 14 and May 20 & 21. Following these selection
trials, the riders traveled to Europe for two competitions which determined
which four horse-and-rider combinations will represent the United States in
the Sydney Olympic Games in September.
The United States Equestrian Team is a non-profit organization that selects,
trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest possible standard to
represent our country in major international competition, including the
Olympic Games and World Championships. To accomplish this the USET seeks out
and nurtures the development of talented athletes-riders, drivers and horses
