USET Announces Formation of a New FEI Driving Series

Gladstone, New Jersey—January 2, 2002—The United States Equestrian Team
(USET) has announced that the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) has
formed a new Driving Series for horses for Singles, Pairs and Fours which
will be called the F.E.I. North American Driving Challenge.
The series will be sponsored by Driving Essentials, Kennett Square, PA, USA
and Freedman Harness, Toronto, Canada.
In 2002, there will be five F.E.I. events counting toward the Challenge and
the three best scores from these events will count based on a point system
with an award given for the best Singles, Pairs and Fours. The events for
2002 are:
Live Oak, FL March 22 - 25
Bromont, Quebec May 17-19
Blainville, Quebec June 8 –
10
The Laurels at Landhope, PA September 6 - 8
Gladstone, NJ October 4 – 6
