USET Announces Teams And Individuals For 2001 Burghley CCI****

Gladstone, NJ-August 29, 2001-The United States Equestrian Team (USET)
announced today that the following horse/rider combinations have been named
as teams and individuals for the 2001 Burghley CCI**** Unofficial Team
Competition.

- Beale Wright Morris/Pathfinder

- Natalie Rooney/Alladin
- Linden Wiesman/Anderoo
- John Williams/Carrick
- Individuals

* David O'Connor and Rattle N Hum will be competing as individuals by
personal invitation of the
2001 Burghley CCI**** Organizing Committee.
The U.S. has been invited to field 2 teams at the 2001 Burghley CCI****
Unofficial Team Competition. This year's team competition will utilize a
test format for the 2002 World Equestrian Games. Teams are made up of 5
horse/rider combinations, with the best 3 scores to count in the team
competition. The top 25 individuals from the team competition would then be
invited to show jump a second round for individual placing.
