Marilyn Little Wins the USET Amateur-Owner Talent Derby, Presented by BET On
Jazz for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Gladstone, New Jersey—June 28, 2001— Marilyn Little of
Fredericks, MD won the USET/Amateur Owner Talent Derby, presented by BET On
JAZZ for an unprecedented fourth consecutive year. Little rode two clear
rounds on Raylyn Farm’s Landman with the fastest jump off time of 38.842
seconds. Danielle Torano of Ft. Lauderdale, FL was second on Lojana, owned
by Sir Ruly. She was also clear with a time of 39.520 seconds. Third place
went to Ashley Baker of Greenwich, CT onboard her horse El Paso with 7
faults and a time of 49.796.
Georgina Bloomberg of New York, NY won the Junior Jumper Talent Derby,
presented by BET On JAZZ with her horse Husker Du and placed third with
Action. She had four faults in the jump off and a time of 52.361 seconds on
Husker Du, and thirteen faults on Action with a time of 59.098 seconds.
Second place went to Jonathan Phillips of Potomac, MD riding his horse
Jewels Idaim with 8 faults and a time of 37.293 seconds.
