Leslie Morse Wins Intermediaire I Championship at BAYER/USET Festival
of Champions Presented by State Line Tack

Gladstone, New Jersey—June 18, 2001—Leslie Morse of Malibu, CA
riding Kingston, owned by Paragon Farms, won the USET Dressage Intermediaire
I Championship with the score of 71.314% at the Bayer/USET Festival of
Champions presented by State Line Tack, June 15-17, 2001.
Morse started off the weekend winning the Prix St. Georges on
Friday with a score of 71.150%. She tied for second in the Intermediaire I
with 70.550% and placed second again on Sunday in the Freestyle with a score
of 73.222%
After winning the Championship Morse praised Kingston for his
effort and ability at the Festival. She plans to train with Kingston this
winter in Europe and hopes to make it to the 2004 Olympics.
Following Morse in the standings were two time Olympic Medalist
Guenter Seidel of Del Mar, CA onboard Aragon, owned by Dick and Jane Brown,
and Arlene Full Page of Wellington, FL on her own horse, Claire.
