USET to Host Dressage Developing Rider Training Sessions

Gladstone, New Jersey –June 12, 2001—In continuing its commitment to
developing promising riders and horses, the United States Equestrian Team
(USET) will proudly host a USET Dressage Developing Rider Training Session
with five-time USET Olympic rider Robert Dover. The training session will
be held July 14 -15 at the USET Headquarters and Olympic Training Center in
Gladstone, NJ.
The training sessions are open to Dressage Developing Riders, defined as
individuals who:

Qualified for the 1999 and/or 2000 USET Intermediaire Long List.
(The Intermediaire Long List includes those horse/rider combinations who
qualify and are invited to compete in the USET Intemediaire I Championship);

Competed in the 1999 USET Grand Prix Qualifiers and achieved a
minimum average score of 60% or above, but did not qualify for the 1999
Grand Prix Long Lists; or
-
Competed in both the 1999 and 2000 USET
Intermediaire Qualifiers and achieved a minimum average score of 62% per
year.
Auditors are welcome to attend the both days. The auditing fee is $30.00.
