Bryant L. Pace Named USET Athlete of the Month for May

Gladstone, NJ –May 30, 2001– Bryant L. Pace of Newfoundland, NJ was named
the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Athlete of the Month after winning
the Intervet/USET Semi Finals at the National Reining Horse Association
(NRHA) Derby, May 19.
With one of the highest scores in reining competition, Pace riding Gunner,
owned by Debra Sloan, posted the score of 233.0 points and earned a purse of
$7,405.00. He topped the field of 37 entries to head the list of 20 reiners
who qualified to compete at the $100,000 Added Cosequin/USET Reining
Championship, presented by Bayer, at the Bayer/USET Festival of Champions,
presented by State Line Tack, June 21-24 at USET Olympic Training Center in
Gladstone, NJ.
Pace has earned over $170,000 in National Reining Horse Association
competition. He is a multiple NRHA World and Reserve World Champion and an
American Quarter Horse Association Senior Reining World Champion.
The United States Equestrian Team is a non-profit organization that selects,
