The Council presented silver belt buckles to the winners of the inaugural
NHJC Medal classes, and also to their trainers. Randy Sherman of Zone 10
won the Junior Medal. He is coached by Susie Schroer. Valerie German from
Zone 2, trained by Nancy Fletcher, won the Amateur Medal.
A silver belt buckle was also awarded to Scott Stewart, who rode Chopard to
the Grand Hunter Championship. Chopard is owned by Mimi Tashjian of
Greenwich, CT.
Junior, amateur and jumper exhibitors will show throughout the weekend at
the Capital Challenge Horse Show in Upper Marlboro, MD. For further
