USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) announced today that the 2001 National Show
Horse Finals took place at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield,
IL, on September 13-16, 2001. The show was rescheduled from the original
dates of September 12-15, due to the national tragedy. In spite of the
postponement, the show was a success with a full schedule of classes and
nightly exhibitor activities which included a Progressive Barn Party, NSH
Foundation Fund Raiser/Auction and Calcutta and an Awards Celebration.
RESULTS
Class 73 - Country Pleasure Open Grand Championship - Excalibur Sir
Lancelot, ridden by Matt Siemon and owned by Beverly J. Harris of
Coatesville, IN. Trainer: Chuck Siemon.
Class 78 - $10,000 Fine Harness Open Grand Championship - Ginger Rogers,
ridden by Robb Wallen and owned by Judith M. Hitch of San Jose, CA.

Class 79 - $1,000 Hunter Pleasure Open Grand Championship - Everlasting

Class 80 - $10,000 Pleasure Driving Open Grand Championship - Second
