AHSA Announces Results of Dressage Young Horse Finals

The American Horse Shows Association (AHSA) announced today the results of
the three Dressage Young Horse Finals, which were recently held to select
the U.S. five and six year-old dressage horses that will represent the
United States at the World Breeding Championship in Verden, Germany, August
8-11, 2001. A minimum qualifying score of 65% was required to enter into
these finals.
According to the AHSA selection criteria, the minimum score required to
advance to the World Breeding Championship is 75%. Based on the results of
the finals, one U.S. entry achieved the minimum score and is eligible to
attend. The U.S. wild card option is yet to be determined.
