The American Horse Shows Association (AHSA) announced today that the first annual AHSA Junior Hunter National Championship will be held at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC, August 12-13, 2001. In order to qualify, a horse must win a Champion or Reserve Champion in an "A" or "AA" rated AHSA Recognized Competition. The owner, rider and horse must be in good standing with the AHSA at the time of qualification. The AHSA Junior Hunter National Championship will be hosted by John and Pam Rush of Rush Management, Inc.
