The American Horse Shows Association announced today that the deadline for entries to the Commonwealth International Three-Day Event to be held at The Plains, VA, from May 24-28, 2001, has been extended to May 1, 2001. This extension is due to Morven Park event, which was to have been used as a qualifier, being cancelled because of bad weather. Commonwealth will be hosting both a CCI** and CCI* event. By extending the deadline, riders will have another chance to ride at Pleasant Hollow Farm Horse Trials in Coopersburg, PA, from April 28-29, 2001. Atlanta Olympic Games course designer and AHSA Eventing Committee Chairman, Roger Haller, will be the course designer at the Virginia event.
