Lexington, KY -- This past weekend was a busy weekend for Show Jumpers in Europe. Alice Debany- Clero won the Grand Prix at CSI2* Bonheiden (BEL). Debany-Clero is based in Paris and was riding Tin Tin, an eight-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare. The pair won the class with a time of 39.11 seconds in the jump off. The second place duo, France's Olivier Jouanneteau riding Kaeleme, had a jump off time on 39.21 seconds. A tenth of a second was the deciding factor. The CSI2* Bonheiden (BEL) continues again this weekend, June 27-29, 2008.
Olympic short listed rider Kate Levy on Vent du Nord won a 1.50 m class at the CSI3* Norten-Hardenburg (GER) on June 19-22, 2008. She led the class by .19 seconds with the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding.
New York City's Georgina Bloomberg also made a winning appearance at the CSI3* Norten-Hardenburg. She won a 1.40 meter class on Star Apple, a nine-year-old Royal Dutch Warmblood stallion. In the 1.35 m young horse class, Bloomberg bested 23 other riders for the win on Radio City, her seven-year-old Holsteiner mare.
