Jacqueline Brooks wins Absorbine(r) Myoplast(r) CDI Grand Prix Special
at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby

Loxahatchee, FL- The 25th Annual Palm Beach Dressage Derby hosted
some of the finest dressage competitions the sport has to offer
throughout the weekend of February 28 to March 2nd. Absorbine®
Myoplast®, an ever-present sponsor during the competition, donated 17
Myoplast embroidered saddle pads for winning High Score Level
Championship classes, seven overflowing horse-care "product"
baskets for 1st place in National Level classes and the custom-made
cooler and embroidered saddle pad for the CDI Grand Prix Special.
Jacqueline Brooks, a strong contender for the 2008 Canadian Olympic
team, and her 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, Gran Gesto, handily won
the CDI Grand Prix Special taking home the Myoplast custom-made
cooler, a beautifully embroidered saddle pad and the Perpetual
Trophy. They posted a score of 69.120% giving them little to worry
about when Amadeus finished a strong second with a score of 66.920%.
For her next outing, Brooks is looking forward to performing her
freestyle at the Winter Equestrian Festival CDI March 20-23 under
lights in the all-weather International Arena at PBIEC.

the equestrians who win their classes. Three representatives from W.
F. Young, Inc. (Absorbine Myoplast) arrived to enjoy the 25th
Anniversary of the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. They readily agreed the
40-acre Horse Park was the perfect environment for their Awards
Presentation. Following lunch and a moving 25th Anniversary ceremony,
the crowds were treated to a Medieval Times demonstration, which Jim
Morris, National Sales Manager of the Animal Health Care Products
division for Absorbine, said he would "never forget."
