Traverse City, MI - August 5, 2007 - Zada Enterprises Dressage by the Bay II wrapped up this afternoon at Flintfields, home of Horse Shows by the Bay, and Milo Mott and Marquis took home the win in the FEI Grand Prix division on day one of competition.

Dressage by the Bay II was split over two days, Saturday and Sunday, with a variety of classes being held over the duration. Mott's grand prix test on Marquis earned her a 59.375 percent for the win on Saturday. However, Mott's second horse in the same division, Imperial II, earned the exact same score, essentially making a tie between the stablemates. The tie was broken according to the collective marks given by the judge at the end of the test, which resulted in the win for Marquis. Third place in the grand prix went to Dorothy Mueller and Prinz Mero on a score of 50.209 percent.

In the Prix St. Georges division, Deborah Gordon on Ricotta won in the Adult Amateur section on a score of 61.260 percent. Carolyn Kotila and Leonardo took second in the Adult Amateurs, earning a 60.750 percent. Judy Kelly and Rakker won the Open division on a score of 64.750 percent, and Kelly Burke Hayner and Rantaro followed in second on a 63.750 percent.

In the Test of Choice Freestyle class on Sunday, Barbara Butman and Falkland Dragonfly proved victorious with a score of 62.50, while Debby Buck DeJonge and Paxem took second with a score of 62.084. In the Intermediaire I division, Rakker and Kelly topped the class with a score of 66.750, while Tonya Grant-Barber finished second with a score of 61.750.

Rantaro and Hayner took the top prize in the Prix St. Georges Open division, earning a score of 64.500 percent, while Cantana and Betsy Van Dyke topped the Junior/Young Rider division with their score of 59.500 percent. In the Prix St. Georges Adult Amateur division, Kotila and Leonardo brought home the blue ribbon yet again.

Championships for Dressage by the Bay II were also decided on Sunday afternoon, with Kelly taking the FEI Open division tricolor aboard Rakker with their score of 66.750. The FEI Adult Amateur division tricolor went to Gordon, who earned a 65.000 percent, and Van Dyke took the FEI Junior/Young Rider championship with her score of 61.750 aboard Cantana.
