Falkland Dragonfly and Barbara Butman Land at Top of Leaderboard in USDF Test of Choice Freestyle at Zada Enterprises Dressage by the Bay I

Traverse City, MI - August 3, 2007 - The second day of competition at Zada Enterprises Dressage by the Bay offered riders a range of classes from Training Level to Grand Prix, with everything in between. In the highlight class of the day, the USDF
Musical Freestyle Test of Choice, Barbara Butman and Falkland Dragonfly danced their way to the blue ribbon.
Butman, riding as an Adult Amateur, earned a
score of 62.292 percent for the win. Paxem and Debby Buck DeJonge followed in second place with a score of 56.875 percent, and Besty Van Dyke was victorious in the Open section with an even score of 65.000 percent.
In the FEI Grand Prix class, Milo Mott dominated the top two spots with her Marquis and Imperial II, respectively. Mott earned scores of 61.667 percent and 59.167 percent for her
efforts. Dorothy Mueller and Prinz Mero took third in the grand prix, earning a score of 53.542 percent.
Victory in the Prix St. Georges class went again
to Kelly Burke Hayner and Rantaro in the Open division with a score of 67.500 percent, while Carolyn Kotila won the Adult Amateur section on a score of 57.500 percent. Nancy Murphy took second place in the Open division riding Simon von de with a score of
57.000 percent.
In the USEF Fourth Level test, a USDF/GAIG qualifying class, the blue ribbon went to young rider Kayla Discher on Papparazzi with a score
of 53.903 percent.
Teah Bankes and Dezent won the USEF Second Level test, another qualifying class, on a score of 63.572 percent for the Open division,
while Adult Amateur Christina Bello Patrick on Fidelio LF with a score of 59.048 percent. Second and third places in the Open division went to Jamie Kruithoff on Pocket Change and Marjan de Destinado, with scores of 59.762 and 56.429 percent,
respectively.

Competition at Zada Enterprises Dressage by the Bay will resume on Saturday morning and will continue through Sunday afternoon.
