Lexington, KY (Friday, July 21, 2006) - The United States Dressage
Federation (USDF) today announced the riders selected to represent the
US in dressage at the 2006 CN North American Junior and Young Riders'
Championships (NAJYRC) held August 1-6, at the Virginia Horse Center, in
Lexington, Virginia. A total of 61 F=E9d=E9ration Equestre
Internationale (FEI) Junior and Young Riders will represent the nine
USDF Regions. The NAJYRC is an exciting competition with a format
similar to the Olympics, with teams of riders from the United States,
Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean Islands, and Bermuda competing in
Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping.
2006 is the first year that FEI Junior Riders are competing at this
Olympic-like event. The following FEI Junior and Young Riders and their
horses will represent the United States in teams formed by their USDF
Regions:
