Burbank, CA- Temperatures soared this past weekend at the LA
Chapter Dressage Show held at the Equestrian Center in Burbank,
California. But even with the mercury edging over 100 degrees, best
selling author and Grand Prix Dressage competitor, Tami Hoag proved
she could take the heat. Hoag dominated both the Grand Prix
division and Intermediare II.
Hoag rode her Grand Prix mare, Coco Chanel to win the Grand Prix
with a score of over 67%. The pair also won the Grand Prix
Freestyle with a score of 72.250%. Hoag and her other FEI mare,
Feliki, finished second in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of
71.250%. Hoag also won the Intermediare II with Feliki scoring over
66%.
"It was hot with temperatures around a 105-degrees,"
said
Hoag, "but winning with scores in the high sixties and
seventies
is always cool"!
And of course when Hoag isn't racking up cool scores in the
Grand
Prix ring, she can be found heating up the pages of her latest
novel. Hoag is a best selling author of suspense novels. She has
had 13 consecutive books on the New York Times Best Seller List.
She is the author of "Dark Horse"=80=9D, set in the horse
show world
of Wellington, Fl, and "Kill the Messenger "and most
